As another academic year draws to a close, and as school holidays begin, join us in prayer for those who will be involved in outreach activities this summer.
- Churches up and down the UK will be preparing for holiday clubs and other summer outreach programmes in the coming weeks. The summer holidays provide a unique opportunity to reach out to children and young people who might not otherwise hear the Bible’s story. Pray for all those who will be taking part (either as participants or volunteers) in holiday clubs, beach missions, family fun days, camps, and other outreach activities this summer. Pray for energy, creativity, and inspiration as they encounter God’s story together.
- SGM Lifewords receives many requests for foreign language literature at this time of year from people who are heading for holidays and would like to take Inspire resources with them in the relevant language. Give thanks with us that we are able to supply this need. Pray for all those seeking to share the Bible’s life words this summer. Ask that they will have plenty of opportunities to start conversations and to share God’s story with the people they meet.
