The SGM Lifewords global family is continually seeking new opportunities to help communities and individuals engage with and be transformed by the Bible’s life words. This week, join us in praying for programme developments in Africa, Latin America and the UK.
- This month Lifewords staff in Kenya will be running two workshops to train teachers in the use of the Bible-based curriculum Choose Life. Please pray for all those involved in leading and teaching at these workshops. Pray that the programme will encourage the teachers who attend, and feel better equipped to inspire their students with the Choose Life programme as a result of the training.
- Partnering with local communities is a great way to help people discover the transforming power of the Bible’s life words, both in their own lives, and the lives of those around them. In this light, please join us in praying for efforts to implement the Professionals at the Kingdom’s Service, Freedom in Prison and Volunteer Promoter programmes in communities across Latin America, equipping Christians with ways to connect the Bible and everyday life at work, in their local communities, and in specialist ministry in prisons.
- This month sees the launch of a new website in the UK to support our Historic Churches Initiative. Give thanks for the unique place historic churches occupy within UK culture, and for the endless opportunities for telling God’s Story to the thousands of tourists and visitors that they provide. Please join us in praying that this website will become a valuable resource for those working within historic churches, providing them with a forum for sharing ideas and a space to be inspired.
