When this prophecy was given – the state of Israel was facing political turmoil. The prophet reassured his audience: God is with us, and His presence will be proved by a miraculous sign.
We all need somebody to be with us in times of suffering and insecurity. God promises he is with us.
Thank God for his presence with us.
In spirit & truth Father I thank You for being with me during this extremely dark time at my work. I know Your word is pure and that You alone are my shield and lifter of my head. I affirm and reaffirm in the name of Jesus Christ that no weapon that is formed against me shall prosper. I know that all things work together for the good to those who love You. Thank You for Your eternal love not only for me but for all mankind. Thank You that in Your presence there is fullness of joy even in the midst of trouble and thank You that despite all my present troubles I am able by Your Spirit & in Your presence able to comfort those who find themselves in trouble with the same comfort that You have comforted me.

I tasted God’s goodness recently during a trip overseas. When there didn’t seem to be any light on a matter I had to settle urgently, and by the next day, I was desperately crying out to God to find a way out for me, and it had to be answered the next morning. I could not sleep the whole morning yet God kept me through. In the morning, amazingly and unexpectedly, God paved the way for resolving the matter first thing in the morning. I was so thankful to God. He really answers prayers. God will save us in the nick of time! Hallelujah! Praise you Jesus!
