kindness and truth

The Word became a human being and lived here with us. We saw his true glory, the glory of the only Son of the Father. From him all the kindness and all the truth of God have come down to us.
John 1:14 (cev)

There is no description of the early years of Jesus in the Gospel of John. Instead John presents a slightly different story – the story of the Word that was God, and that finally became a human being and lived here with us. In Christ we can see God’s glory and experience His grace.

Thank God for his kindness, shown to us in Jesus.

It amazes me how sometimes Scripture hits one in the face, and the message is what they needed to hear. Maybe they have heard it long ago, but tdy is really spoke to them. thank you GOD.

Thankyou our Father in heaven for sending Your own, precious, only begotten Son Jesus to earth as a human being, woith us, and as God with us. We are reconciled to through Your sending Him, and through Jesus’s willingness, out of love for You and us, to humble Himself to enter the womb of a virgin woman Mary and be born in a stable, in a feed trough, to live a sinless life, and teach agape sacrificial love in word and deed, and suffer and suffer more and die for us on the cross, and to pay the penalty for humankind’s sins, past, present and future, with His blood, taking the weight of the world’s sins on His shoulders and enduring the separation from You which that entailed. In Jesus Name we thank You Father and we thank Jesus, Amen. My wife Judy and our sons Matt and Paul and daughter Emma and her husband Andy thank You also. In Jesus Name, Amen.

Thank you for your kindness especially that, of ourselves, we were totally incapable of reconciliation with you, we were powerless to to be set free from our sins & their just punishment – BUT in your kindness you sent Jesus to die & rise for us. Everything we have, whether a christian or a not yet christian is all a gift from you , your kindness. “From your fullness we have all received Grace upon Grace.”
Thank you that in Jesus we see the truth about God, and we see the truth about ourselves generally less praiseworthy, and the truth that we are loved & can chose to be adopted as God’s children.
