Simeon prophesied about Jesus: “This child will be rejected by many… But he will be the greatest joy to many others.”

Simeon holds the little baby in his arms. We can imagine him looking at the gentle face, the baby’s smile, little hands and feet. Yet this baby will eventually become an adult, a brave man who will cause controversy and debate. Those considered important and spiritual will be found opposing God, while others thought of as sinners will discover God’s concern for them.
Pray for someone you know who has rejected Jesus, that they would find their joy in him.
i pray for my lovely son tom, that this christmas will renew the joy he once had in his faith in christ!
Our Father in heaven,
I lift my brother Barrie and his wife Adele up to you. That You will break down any barriers in their hearts to undrstanding about Your great love and what You have done for them, for us, and for all of humankind. Reveal Yourself to them we pray, and draw them to You with ropes of loving kindness.
We pray that they will see the DVD Indescribable by Louie Giglio that we are giving to Barrie’s son and his wife. We pray for them also, that You will reveal Yourself to them and similarly draw them to You. And the same also to my other brother Jan and his partner Nicky and son. We ask these things in Jesus name. Amen
